The Person Behind the Work
I've always been drawn to the moment something clicks.
It started in classrooms with three years of teaching English to kids and teens, watching a language slowly become theirs. That instinct for finding the right word, the right angle, the right level of complexity for the person in front of you, that never really left me. It just moved into a different kind of work.
These days, I help teams turn complex products and systems into content that actually makes sense to the people who use them. Technical documentation, UX copy, style guides, content strategy, the through-line in all of it is the same question I was asking in those classrooms: Does this land?
More recently, I've been spending a lot of time on the systems side of things, such as building documentation frameworks, scalable content workflows, and the kind of infrastructure that means good content doesn't depend on one person heroically holding it all together. It turns out I find that just as satisfying as the writing itself.
If you're building something and need someone who cares as much about the structure as the words, I'd love to hear about it.
