Troubleshooting Paid Feature Activation in Avast Password Manager

Applies to: Avast Password Manager

The paid version of Avast Password Manager includes two premium features: Password Guardian and One-Touch Login.

Both features should be activated automatically when you log into your Avast Password Manager mobile application or browser extension, with an account linked to a paid subscription.

If the features are not activated in your application or browser extension, first check the status of your subscription in your Avast account. If an active Avast Password Manager subscription appears in your Avast account and the features are still not activated, sign in and out of your application or browser extension.

Check Your Avast Password Manager Subscription Status

  1. Open your preferred browser and sign into your Avast Account with the same account you are signed in with in Avast Password Manager.

  2. In the My subscriptions tile, click Manage subscriptions.

If you have an active Avast Password Manager subscription, you see a tile titled Avast Password Manager or Avast Passwords. If you do not see a tile with this title, you do not have an active subscription linked to that Avast account.

Sign In and Out of Your App or Browser Extension

Windows PC

  1. Open your browser that has the Avast Password Manager browser extension installed.

  2. In the top-right corner of the screen, click the extensions icon, and select Avast Password Manager.

  3. In the pop-up window that appears, click Sign out.

  4. Click the extensions icon and select Avast Password Manager again.

  5. In the Avast Password Manager screen, click Sign In, and follow the on-screen instructions to sign in with your Avast account.

Result

Password Guardian and One-Touch Login are now activated.
